Photoshoot, Chapel Ceremony, and Wedding Dinner at the Bürgenstock Resort near Lucerne The extensive renovations at the renowned Bürgenstock Resort near Lucerne had barely been completed when we were hired as wedding photographers for the very first wedding reception at the renovated resort, which we were naturally thrilled about.

It was no coincidence that Stefan and Isabelle chose to exchange vows in what is arguably Switzerland’s most exclusive hotel. Stefan was one of the construction managers at the Bürgenstock Resort and has invested a great deal of time, energy, and passion into the planning over the past few years.

Knowing full well that we would also have the honor of staying in one of the newly built luxurious rooms, we arrived on this sunny autumn day fully motivated.

The wedding chapel at the Bürgenstock

The historic Bürgenstock Chapel from the 19th century is located a few minutes walk from the Hotels at the Bürgenstock. Made famous by the wedding of actress Audrey Hepburn to Mel Ferrer in 1954, the chapel now provides an incomparable atmosphere and acoustics for chamber music concerts organized by the Bürgenstock Festival Foundation.
