This couple loves James Bond ! It was appropriate to celebrate their elopement with guests on the Birg Platform above Muerren. After the ceremony we took the cable car to the Schilthorn for more fun. The Eiger Hotel Muerren is a 4 star hotel with owners Susanna and Adrian who make an epicurean dinner. Joe and Ken came back this year for an anniversary and we had the chance to meet them again for a celebrational cheers.

Ken and Joe were very decided to wish to celebrate their partnership with a symbolic wedding ceremony at the Schilthorn in Switzerland.
They realized they could have possibly emailed the Schilthorn and arranged things individually with the hotel, collect websites and gather muscians, florists, order and aperitif, hire a photographer and maybe a family member could do the honor of officiating, however they choose to not work, nor worry of the unknown risk of arranging a ” destination wedding themselves”.
We corresponded almost a year. I learned so much from them too.
They were clear with their wishes and we often met over skype to review new details
Ken and Joe are one couple from many who leave Switzerland as friends.
We took two days together. One day for the photo session with a few friends skiing. Pascal has been a ski & snowboard guide ten years so he is comfortable to escort guests around the 215 km of trails a the Kleine Scheidegg, Schilthorn, Grindelwald and Adelboden Region. If it is Black Diamond you wish to experience, we are here to guide you and capture fun everlasting photos along the way.
We were fortunate to have ” perfect weather”. Please do recognize to host a wedding in the Alps, you must be ready to handle a bad weather option. We can back up a Castle, or hotel place in our beautiful region of Muerren, Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen, Interlaken, Lake of Thun or Brienz.
WE, are fortunate to have met Ken, Joe, their family and friends who gathered from across the globe to share this once in a life time ” MR & MR” wedding. We look forward to their anniversary and welcome them back for another fun adventure skiing in the Bernese Oberland.

I hope your spring treated you well! The views were so beautiful in winter, but I wish I could see them in the summer too. I am sorry I have not written sooner, but we were planning for our stateside wedding reception and work has been crazy. The stateside wedding reception happened just about two weeks ago and we had 150+ people attend. It was marvelous to see everyone. We played the slide show of the photos you took for everyone to see on a loop during the day and evening. In general, people were stunned and the looks on their faces were of awe! I have received so many complements on them, and we wanted to pass those onward to you. Ken and I had the wedding of a lifetime and could not have done it without you. Moreover, your photos captured those moments so we can enjoy them for our entire lives! We are now designing thank you cards for everyone and trying to get those out in a reasonable timetable. Let us know how you two are getting on, and I would very much like to keep in touch as time goes on.
